A few hrs of work later and now it’s already getting dark so I gave up

Working on this practice study in oils of the face of my main subject to get a sense of how to approach her. This is what I did so far yesterday in an hour and hopefully today I'll get her looking much better!

Lazy attempt at a Bargue plate study this evening. About 3hrs work.

There’s some issues but it was a good exercise in value
