@thalamsutu.bsky.social re the #SpringBoks lineout woes. Part of the problem seems to be the 4 man. Matfield has been critical of this. It puts a lot of pressure on the operators and makes a mirror defense pretty easy. Brown wants to 4 man to run his attacking system with loosies out wide.

Stormers were beaten up front and did them selves no favors. Handling was too poor, falling off tackles, no attaching innovation and poor passes from the 9s.
Lions showed up, targeted the 13 channel, took their chances and looked to better team from minute 10. Well done Lions
