CNN runs docs on Walter Cronkite [sic] and I've seen anchors point out- a different time, there were only 3 channels so he could have principles. At some level the journs have to please the bosses, and bosses want audience capture

i think it's cyclical. losing dvd revenue made studio execs more conservative. tarantino regularly opinines rn is a horrible time for movies and it reminds him of the 80s.

this would be a fun one to figure out. you'd have to figure out not just their economic impact but their inflation-adjusted multiplier. since cos like fedex/NBSF prob have big multipliers, and standoil/jpm/ibm/unionpacific prob had big multipliers and huge share back in their days

fwiw when i deleted the purple 'any of these' sections, there was nothing left. also that list of rules is REALLY hard to read. until you sent me the partial zoomed-in screenshot i thought it was just a fake placeholder graphic.
