I live in Pittsburgh, but I got really worried about New Mexico when I saw that almost a quarter of that state’s population relies on SNAP. So I made a thread linking to some New Mexican food pantries:
I was pretty shocked when I saw this map earlier today. It’s great to donate to your local food bank, but it looks like people in New Mexico will be in the most desperate need when SNAP funds run out November 1. Wherever you live, if you’re looking for a food bank to give to, consider one in NM.
