After Lithuania closed two border crossings with Belarus, Lukashenka is now threatening to seize over 1,000 Lithuanian trucks and drivers stranded inside Belarus.
This is not logistics — it’s blackmail by a Kremlin-aligned regime.

Good news: more than 50% of the world’s economies have seen carbon emissions from fossil fuel power generation peaking. And with the speed of change in the electricity sector many more will join this growing list in coming years.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

British-born red kite chicks have now been taken to south west Spain as part of a four-year project to revive the population there from the brink of extinction. What a lovely #ConnectingEurope story!
In UK exports news:
"In Spain, the relocation project in Extremadura has seen three mating pairs so far that have produced two surviving chicks..
..There are still huge areas of southern Spain where the red kite was common three decades ago and is now almost extinct.."

is right to warn that #Putin could open a second front in #Europe before the war in 🇺🇦 ends.

If it happens, it may come through #Belarus — the regime made our land Russia’s launchpad against the people’s will.

Batteries are coming to Europe. Earlier this year Europe’s largest battery storage site went live at Blackhillock, Scotland.

The facility has a capacity of 300MW/600MWh.

Much larger batteries are under development: A huge 1 GW / 4 GWh system is being constructed in Jänschwalde, Germany.
