I try not to discourse, but did you genuinely feel that the intent of the post was lumping trans people in with the confederacy? It seemed to me to be very much the opposite, the humor of the post was in the juxtaposition of the two

Hi, I'm stupid. If you and your partner get tested and neither have any stds, and (big assumption) there's no infidelity. Where does the risk of an std come from? Just the off chance of contracting from another person in public or is there more to it than that?

It will never stop being insane to me that people are more okay with their taxes paying people to ID check at bathrooms than with their taxes paying someone else's medical bill

Yep... yet another "Just saying what I believe" bigot. The bible is a source that can be used to demonstrate a history of gender roles, but it's a leap in logic to say that just because the bible says those roles existed means that having them is a good thing.
