I saw that film last night, quite poignant in some ways and lots of classic traction as well. I've just looked up the closure date which I didn't get from the film, September 1968. I've travelled on the bit which has been preserved. Norfolk has lost a lot of lines over the years.

Not yet but I’ve found it on the iPlayer. I’ll report back! Champions League first call tonight. Spurs are already 1-0 down, She Who Must Be Obeyed has won the toss so we’re watching Real Madrid beating Liverpool.
