Deeply frustrating in a "can the subaltern speak way" how we keep trying to explain how the risk is impoverishment, imprisonment, violence & death, and the liberal/left keeps on saying "I'm so sorry, don't worry, you are valid" in response???
Okay, like - thank you liberal cis people for posting about how "valid" trans people are, I get you want to be nice, but that is a functionally immaterial issue. The danger right now is not about being "valid" on a psychological level but about trans people's material rights being stripped away

u can't be an ally without standing up for transition for youth or for bottom surgery. u don't get to opt out of the things that scare or embarrass u just bc u don't understand them. those points are where transphobes want to drive the wedge and they wont stop there
