I'm sure someone has written more intelligently about this, but it's striking how tech companies use disability as a benevolent rationale for their work. For ex., Neuralink's website describes helping paraplegics as the company's main goal. Meanwhile, Musk is ranting about creating cyborgs.

I mostly work in physical media, and people are often surprised that a plain old #2 pencil remains my single favorite drawing tool. Sometimes you find what works and you don’t have to keep searching 🤷

Even if I have a valid concern, I don’t want it to get conflated with or co-opted by bad-faith arguments or attempts to sow division.

No, you’re right, that was lousy wording; I meant enbies who don’t identify as moving towards either binary.

I absolutely believe that the more serious concerns get mixed with more generic attacks on transfem hosts — unfortunately, the imbalance in coverage stands out most when there’s a specific focus on trans issues, which is also when there are more transfem voices on the pod.

I stand by that concern and I don’t appreciate being sworn at or lumped in with transmisogynists when I bring it up.

Respectfully, I am not that person, and I have never complained about the presence of transfem folks on the show.
I have complained about ongoing coverage of “trans issues” that centers transfem voices and concerns to the exclusion of transmasc or explicitly nonbinary concerns.
