Masterful silent epic BEN HUR: A TALE OF THE CHRIST is simply staggering, a monumentally expensive (and troubled) production that throws every cent up on the screen; don't underestimate the surprises in store for you in this one.

Masterful silent epic BEN HUR: A TALE OF THE CHRIST is simply staggering, a monumentally expensive (and troubled) production that throws every cent up on the screen; don't underestimate the surprises in store for you in this one.

Despite being dumber than a rock from the floor of the Coliseum, and nowhere near the quality of the Oscar-winning original, Ridley Scott's GLADIATOR II is a wildly entertaining epic. My full review in the link:

Bluesky offering significant content moderation… far more attuned to what people want control of than @threads it seems. If only more/all platforms would implement these things (Mastodon does a lot in this space too). Can be found under moderation in settings. Video to follow.
