Nice! I hope you love it as much as I do. And thanks for the inspiration. I've got some jalapenos and cabbage right now... I think I'll make a batch!

Curious if he deals with the must work to eat and pay for housing aspects of life, or if it's really just a book for those with disposable income.

I picked it up hoping to guide myself into what I want to do next. Starting to feel burnt out on the ups and downs of blogging.

Currently reading Four Thousand Weeks... only just 2 chapters in, but he basically has the same perspective. We are so focused on getting money to buy the things and keeping busy that we're actually missing out on doing what we really matters.

I don't know... but it's more work than simply stuffing into a paper bag. 😉 I've done dehydrator herbs in the past and they tend to be a bit crispier than paper bag herbs.

Curious, what you’re doing on substack? Are you using it for your email newsletter? Or switching from blogging to posting content there.

So hard to know how longtime bloggers like us should maintain our spaces.

I haven't tried it... but I also have a collection of old cookbooks that I turn to for advice. 😀

If you hang out with the right people you get to yell with a chorus of others. It's therapeutic.

(My other profile is more about yelling, this one is purely food and sunshine...)

Amazing! We're just starting into summer in my neighborhood, but I'm keen to try fermenting whole walnuts! It's so hard to get that skin off.
