Well I received confirmation of receiving my retirement benefits from the US yesterday! Thank you government employees for helping me, in spite of being harassed by DOGE. It took 6 months from the time I applied for my benefits until I received them...

I finally heard from the SSA. I applied for my retirement benefits more than 4 months ago. The nice woman sent my application on to Maryland for processing. I should get my benefits in 6 more Months! Elon really has slowed things down. It used to take 30 days to receive benefits after applying...

We took a little break from winter. We celebrated Ralph's birthday with a week in Madiera. Really lovely, and the food was excellent.
