Does anyone else's human have fake sun? I mean I like the sun, don't get me wrong, but I'm not so sure about this fake stuff. It doesn't even give off heat! Mom says it's not for me anyway. But isn't everything for me?!?

@catsofyore.bsky.social Thought you might like this book my human has. It was published in 1982 and given as a joint gift to my human's grandma and great-grandma. They lived next door to one another at the time. The 2nd photo is the inside "tribute" page.

I'm starting to think mom has ulterior motives for playtime. She has been taking way too many pictures of me sleeping. She says it's because I am just #socute while sleeping. Um, #Invasionofprivacy! I mean look at these shots of me after falling asleep sitting up! Does the world need to see these?!

I was eating a late-night ham sandwich in Ella's first month home. Spouse worked a lot of overnight shifts, so, we were on a late schedule. But, the girl was determined, then ended up not giving a meow about it.

Does anyone else sigh? Mom's cat Simon used to sigh all the time. She says it was always filled with the drama of an exhausted Diva.

I sigh too, but more of a regular sigh. Nothing quite as weighty and dramatic. But it fills mom's heart with joy when she hears me. Wish I could have met Simon!

A little bit of cuteness and armpit airing for your Monday enjoyment. Mom also wishes she had a loveseat instead of a chair since I want to be next to her, but not *on* her. Unless I am cold, which is still rare. I have a fabulous fur coat, but as you can see, mom has to bundle up. 😼
