Went back out this weekend, and I think I finally have the IR focusing nailed, I wish I had a mirrorless IR camera, would be so much easier. But now on the editing experimentation!

Also from last weekend, playing with infrared. I’m getting close to the right place, but diffraction is still pulling the sharpness out of it. I need to do more math and figure out the best f-stop to get that sharpness perfect.

I finally did it. Except for my IR converted camera, my film cameras, and a few wide angle lenses I’ve gone over to mirrorless. Traded everything in on a Z8, 85/1.2, 105/2.8 macro, 40/2, 70-200/2.8 and a 24-200/4. I’ve been really pleased, only tried the 105 so far, but I love this camera!
