Have you seen this 👇? It’s really worrying. I’ll pop a video up later about it in case you don’t have time to read the longer piece 🚨
IMPORTANT: New research by EveryDoctor shows how powerful private finance and construction firms are lobbying ministers to revive PFI, a model once condemned as a “catastrophic waste of taxpayers’ money”💰🚨💰🚨

Please share -everyone needs to see this.

This is good, from Hakeem Jeffries. More of this please, in every conceivable forum:

"Sycophants who aid and abet the President’s vengeful schemes will not be able to hide from the serious legal consequences of their behavior. They will be held accountable."

Can't rebuild economy without increasing worker share of GDP.

Some suggestions:
Join a union
Strengthen collective bargaining
Need real Living Wage.
Worker-elected directors on company boards
Worker vote on exec pay
Exec bonus schemes must apply to workers
Limit corporate tax relief on exec pay
The government must ensure fair distribution of income
'The average real wage of workers has hardly moved from the 2008 level whilst bosses never had it so good.'

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

British media pumps out daily propaganda pieces for Farage, fails to offer *any scrutiny* and basically legitimises rampant racism, then puts on its ‘innocent face’ and clutches its pearls at the rise of the far right…
What a grim betrayal of our democracy.

Reform, with 0.7% of all MPs, featured in 25% of BBC's recent 10pm news bulletins
Astonishingly, a party with 18 times as many MPs as Reform has received one-third less coverage on BBC News at 10.

Power is the rock on which truth founders. The mainstream media, with a few exceptions, is a single-issue lobby group, whose purpose is to assert the rights of capital.

I have now been a journalist for 40 years. The forces ranged against my profession have never been so powerful | George Monbiot
Once, I believed that humanity’s problem was an information deficit. Now, I know you can’t speak truth to power if power controls your words, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Baron Foulkes says we shouldn't remove Mandelson from the House of Lords, as there are worse people in it e.g. Mone, Lebedev

How about a geeral rule that if you're dodgy, you can't get into the Lords, and if you're already in it, as you fall below the standards expected, you're removed from it
