Apparently Vyvanse has enhanced my ability to complete art projects I started 3 years ago and did barely any work on. I had to go on Reddit to ask what to do with it now… lol. Got it at the county fair and did a minimal bit of it then stuck it in a drawer for 3 years.

It’s a long story, but somehow I ended up painting an axolotl for my coworker’s wife. Thought I’d share it. I looked up line art axolotl drawings, found a couple I liked, then free-hand sketched a combo of them, then acrylic paint. You can’t really tell, but the water is glittery.

Today on AuDHD Kitchen: Banana Bread. Have I made banana bread before? No. Did I have overripe bananas? Yes. Did I use literally the first recipe that came up on Google? Also yes. Did I blare Otyken (Kykakacha specifically) while smashing bananas with a fork. Yes.

Just to lighten the mood… my mom got me a box of Lego succulents for Christmas, which I just got in the mail yesterday because the ADHD in the family is strong, I guess. Picked one out of the box at random to assemble tonight. Possibly a Venus flytrap? There are no words on the instruction sheets.

New meds, new me? Had a mental health visit yesterday & my MD confirmed ADHD & joins me in strongly, strongly suspecting ASD, though she can’t “formally” diagnose me for that one. We picked an ADHD med to try & I started this morning… wow. The brain noise got quiet!

First time I’ve been back to Agua Caliente Park since the fire in 2022. You can see in the last pic some of the tree trunks are blackened. I touched one and got charcoal all over my hand.
