House of Dynamite hits well if you've ever worked a watch floor. And it hit a lot of other good buttons for me, although, I couldn't quite get past this moment where the USFK Commander joins the SVTC from... his laundry room.

OK, figured it out - going to start here, December 2013, my 34th birthday, in Budapest. I still dream about this astonishing bread bowl pork goulash we got for 2000 Forints (like $5). It was a good year from there with the exception of losing my grandmother in March '14.

Genuine question, what is this and what would one use it for in high school? I tried searching but all I found were places willing to sell me one, not explain what it's for.

Meatball met a northern diamond-backed terrapin at Machicomoco State Park near Gloucester Point last month. These are apparently super-rare, and are Virginia's only brackish turtles (I learned afterwards).

This photo is from 2010; by that time it was probably more common, although I can't remember exactly. I had it for the first time in Seattle in 2001 and quested for it wherever I could find it thereafter.
