Middle class woman of a certain age. Knows how to deal with stupid people.

Every bit as miserable today - I don't think there was any point when I was outside and it wasn't at least muzzling - but twice as much power generated!

This is what happens when I log in to the Vodafone account I set up last week. Every time.
Everything they do works through the website or app. If I have registered and set up a password, how can it not work? I got a text this morning saying contact them if I have an issue. But it's impossible

What a grey day!

I worked for the college for 12 years. We seemed to change colours more often than I changed offices (I was in 6 different rooms over 3 sites).

Tidying up! I found this from one of my very first groups of apprentices in 2007. The Maths teacher was off for a term and I had to get them though Key Skills. I told them I'm not a Maths teacher and I like Maths, but I got that they didn't. They all passed their exams and their apprenticeships.

My first ever fibre pile jacket. I think I had it in 1978/9 and wore it pretty much constantly, with or without a cagoule, until I finished school. Shipmate were a Sheffield company, down the road from us. It just about still fits as is used for gardening when it's cold.

9.3kWh of free leccy today and 5.8kWh yesterday.

Yesterday's laundry drying, today's first load washing, dishwasher on, house battery and portable devices charging charging.

Did someone say free energy? Second load of washing in, dishwasher on, kettle boiling, devices plugged in and battery charging. And then I've got to do it all again tomorrow!

I'm staffing a stall at a conference today. At least the location is interesting.

His lordship will have the matter solved in a jiffy.

This is the guy on the receiving end of the 16 angles of attack with stick/ knife/ sword that we had to draw in class

John Lennon shared a birthday with Ma & the Duke of Kent (although he was 5 years younger) and a taste in music with Pa.

Balloons from last night's 3 generational birthday celebrations. I am now older than my maternal grandma ever was. Ma is as old as me & Elder Adorable Niece (tm) combined.

Heading Up North for Ma's 90th birthday today.
Apparently some bloke called Eddie was born on the same day.

2 MWh of power generated since 4 July. 70% exported to the grid. Still waiting to be paid for any of it.

Rain has stopped play. Even the pool is closed, which is a bit odd, as we can't get much wetter. A few hardy souls have been to the beach to swim.

Apparently, this was 2 years ago. It feels like yesterday or forever ago. I didn't grade last weekend, but I'm revising for my Advanced instructor exam as well as learning to hit people with a big stick.

9kW from grid 12-2 to do the chores and fill the battery. I was particularly proud of the peak usage of 13.7kW.

It's @octopus.energy double free energy today. After running round setting all the appliances going, I put the kettle on for a cuppa before sitting down in front of the telly. I'd cut the garden back, but it's raining.

Our council has an app for that. You can set it to send you an alert every week to tell you which bins to put out, or you can check it whenever you want. All you have to do is tell it your address (I use next door but 1!) and when you want to be reminded.
