So why in the world did these eight senators cave? According to King, it was time to surrender because the status quo "wasn't working." Was he right? No. The public has blamed the president and his party; Democrats received a dramatic boost from the electorate five days before the Sunday-night vote, which should've stiffened spines; Trump's approval rating is sinking; and GOP officials were increasingly divided against one another. The pieces, in other words, were in place for Democrats to stand firm in support of a popular cause. Eight of them folded anyway.

From the event's website, it says the event is November 18 at 7pm, and "Location will be shared prior to event date". $50 gets you a Virtual Access Pass. $100 got a balcony seat, but they are sold out. $250 got a premium balcony seat, but they are also sold out. $500 gets an orchestra seat. Options continue in next picture. Continued. $1000 gets you a "Gold" orchestra seat, though it isn't clear if that's just better than the lower priced orchestra seat, or if the seat is actually made of gold, or at the least, gold-plated. $2500 makes you an "Event Host", which gets you a premium orchestra seat (no available metallurgical analysis) and a "Host Photo" with the event's trio. $10000 makes you an "Event Co-Chair" which seemingly gets you two premium seats and access to a Chair Reception with the event's trio. Weirdly, it says $10k "each", so it isn't super clear on how many people will be allowed and where.

I actually considered trying to get to Blood and Guts because it's only a couple of hours from me, but I would have had to rent a car and it's just not in the cards right now.

But check the seat I looked at and the price. I know it would have been worth it. 🤼‍♂️

Standard wheelchair accessible admission costing $105. It separates the service fee out which is $24.45 (surprisingly, this was combined with the ticket price on the seating page, which is a welcome change from the previous shock of seeing them added later). Taxes add another $8.74 which brings the total to $138.19, which is not a bad price at all for such a good seat for this ridiculous production.
