And I would know. My son is three and it is wall to wall poop jokes with him. This is the humor of a human whose brain has not fully developed and is learning how to use the potty. Not someone who should be leading anything.

I was thinking the other day about how infantilizing patriarchy is. It really does demand that white men be treated as babies. They get to throw tantrums and make everyone around them miserable because they didn’t feel loved by their parents. Literally the behavior of a toddler.

Honestly, I could not have made a better video depicting what Trump has done to the people of this country. Farmers, business owners, workers. Everyone who is not a billionaire is under that gushing sewage.

Sorry - *pregnant people.

Actually, pregnant women need to take Tylenol if they have a fever because you can’t take ibuprofen when you are pregnant. And a fever can harm the fetus. So this “news” is so dangerous and will cause more harm because women will avoid taking Tylenol when they should use it.

I think - they have already taken so much. I won’t let them have this. This beautiful thing that has survived every attempt at obliteration. The thing that lies beneath the United States of America, rising through the cracks, waiting to be born. (7/7)

Place as multi-dimensional, non-linear, emergent, something constantly unfolding that can never be truly understood yet deeply known. And I think about what it means to abandon all of that to this mind-virus of white supremacist capitalist cis heteropatriarchy. 6/7

I think of the land as a living being. I think of our plant and animal kin. I think of the genocide and resistance of indigenous people, the spirits of all the ancestors, a web that makes a place. I think of how the histories of my people, my ancestors, are now woven into this web 5/7

I’m not even going to get into whether this fantasy is possible. Whether there is a place on Earth where we could actually be free like that. Maybe some people have found it, created it. I don’t know. What I do know is that when I expand my thinking beyond the human world, something shifts 4/7

We imagine some other life where we don’t have to constantly argue for our basic humanity. Where we can put our efforts into things that are creative and generative rather than scraping for survival. All the labor that racism extracts from us that could go towards so much good in the world 3/7

After what has unfolded, the rabid hate, the dehumanization, the rise of authoritarianism- and the complicity of “moderates” who value their own comfort over liberation to the point of both-siding hate speech and violence, it can feel natural to say “enough” - to refuse to be abused anymore 2/7
