I've had maybe four brain MRI, and they're annoying, but not that bad. The ankle one was terrible. I was in so much pain trying to hold my ankle still.

Trader Joe's is my closest grocery store, and even though they stock decent gin and whisky, they didn't appear to have any rums besides the store-brand.

I technically have a guest room, but it's currently overrun with Legos. If it's ever again functional I will invite you to stay!

I guess it makes sense. It's just so long ago that my grandparents died at pretty old ages (he was a US soldier in WW2, and she was a British nurse) that it feels like there can't be that many left.

Are there really that many left? Someone who was 18 in 1944 is 99 now.

Also, I've walked Miracle Mile in the past month, and I don't know what the vacancy rate is, but that district is as thriving as it ever has been. It's still impossible to drive down Michigan Ave because of the level of traffic.

This has not worked on my 11-year-old, though I think he may be saying it mostly to annoy his big brother.
