It absolutely is. And it’s completely ok. Cross stitch is the important thing here.

😂 weirdly, I love doing blackwork! It’s delicate and pretty. But backstitch just for the edges of things is a nope.
I have a beautiful full coverage cross stitch that I finished about two years ago. It needs a bit of backstitch to complete it… so I guess it’s gonna sit in the WIP pile until I’m 93!

I’m really glad you like my patterns! 😊 Making mistakes is so frustrating isn’t it? I do exactly the same thing. I thought I could count properly until I took up cross stitch, but I can triple check sometimes and still find out it’s wrong a while later!
