Today would've been my dad's 70th birthday and my sister and I took off work to be with my mom, walked into the house to these birthday candles on his cremains along with a book a family friend intended to gift him. Nobody does morbid celebration like my family!

If people can believe in a god that sends them signs then I can believe my dying father sent me this full art Altaria Pokémon TCGP card that I opened from a random pack in his hospital room. My dad was the one who gave me my first Pokémon game and gameboy when it came out in the 90's.

My father passed away last night. It feels surreal after years of waiting for this to happen. He had been unwell and suffering for years now and put us all through a lot. He was a difficult man. Having a lot of overwhelming feelings and of course I had a dream about him last night too.

A local bar did a Halloween pop up and it's very cute but it's also a sports bar so there are a bajillion screens playing sports ball games and none of the other people in here even appreciate the Halloween of it all.

Literally so proud of myself I made this completely from scratch with posterboard and felt! The fit is admittedly lil funky but I'm gonna pin it to my head for the faire and I feel like it looks so dang cool!

Still slayed at least I guess (Rennfaire themed event). The night started off good and ended with a few friends being very kind and reassuring while I was crying but I really don't want to go back next weekend. (Pre-existing plans)

#MCRPhilly was incredible! Managed to clown arouund despite the 90 degree heat 🤡💀🥀 Amazing B-stage setlist again, can't believe I was so lucky with both shows to hear so many of my favorite songs!
