I've been a bit quieter than usual these past months because @astra.bsky.social and I have been going deep into what we are calling End Times Fascism. The research has been bleak, I won't lie, but it's also been inspiring.

In the memes people pay the guy and the girlfriend and they are doing dramatic reenactments of this ritual but they were making it funny for some reason because I think the movie made it overdramatic.

I can confirm with my own anecdote that kimchi helped me feel better in the Philippines while recovering from traveller dysentery. The resort at Panglao had lots of clean bottled water and fresh kimchi at the breakfast buffet for the large amounts of Korean tourists.
