13/ 2. Caine has been quoted as expressing his admiration and “love” for Trump as well as having told Trump “I will kill for you, sir”.

I think now we know the real reason.

12/ So why fire Gen. Brown before his term expires? There are two obvious facts that likely explain the firing. 1. Brown was a Biden appointment to be Chair. (of course remember, Trump promoted Brown to Chief of the Air Force).

11/ In my opinion, by any objective standard, there is no “woke” here with regard to the appointment of Gen. Brown to the Chair of the Joint Chiefs. Brown is indeed qualified.

10/ Brown was born into a military family in San Antonio. His father served 30 years in the Army rising to the level of Colonel. Brown’s paternal; grandfather served in World War II. He was a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corp.

9/ and both have served their country honorably and it can be concluded that both are certainly qualified. So it is still peculiar why the SOD would suggest that Brown was a “woke” appointment.

8/ Gen Brown is being replaced by General Dan Caine. Let’s see how the two stack up:

Both are combat pilot veterans. Both have attained master degrees (Brown in aeronautical engineering; Caine in air war fare).

7/ By the way, Gen. Brown’s appointment to the Chief of the Air Force in 2020 was done by? You guessed it, Donald J. Trump.
March 7, 2025 at 5:06 PM
6/ Instead of invoking the concept of wokeness, why doesn’t the SOD have the courage to say that Gen. Brown was simply not competent or that he was only promoted to Chair because he is a person of color. The answer is that the SOD knows that this is not true.

5/ General Brown, based on what Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, intimated was promoted to Chair for “woke” reasons. A term now so commonly used it has lost all meaning.

4/ A president must be able to trust that he will be given all facts and advice and not just what the president wants to hear.
