Spent like 2hrs working on a sketch for a character in Hades trying to get the pose right.
Only to then realize that the pose idea doesn't work with the char oriented in that direction.

Stopped drawing "things I want" for the past like year & just decided to focus entirely on studying anatomy instead.
Wrote down all my ideas so I could come back to them later, but given that most of them involve anatomy & my skill & understanding has improved massively. I don't really regret it

Started the Gachiakuta manga this morning, read 82 chapters (thus far). Would probably have read more or been near caught up if not for having other things to also do.
Absolutely loved it thus far, tons of incredible & inspiring art full of style & I connect with the themes a lot

Starting to feel like I have a solid enough foundation & understanding of anatomy to start making the stuff I want to. Still have much more to learn in other fundamentals but it feels good to feel like my efforts have paid off

Would be really cool if puritans could understand the concept of personal responsibility & I dunno, use free will to avoid things they don't like rather than trying to make the world a worse place for everyone else all of the time.

Loved it, might be my favorite of the new trilogy. They really nailed introducing melee to Doom & now I don't know if I want to go back. I need more Full Metal Medieval Doom

I've watched Sinners 3 times in the past week & each time I've loved it even more. Hope that between Nosferatu & Sinners there's a resurgence in great gothic films. The more the merrier & I'll go see every single one of em
