The cost of visiting The Louvre is set to rise by 45% for non-EU travelers in January. 😲

If that's not in your budget, check out my guide to using a Paris Museum Pass to save big on The Louvre and other Paris museums during your next trip. Link below!

That time we had an entire ancient city to ourselves.

This was in Tripolis, Turkiye, just fifteen minutes from Pamukkale but rarely visited by foreigners.

Today is my veggie-versary! It's been 21 years since I stopped eating meat, despite (at the time) being a very picky eater who didn't like most fruits and vegetables. Look at me now! #vegetarian #vegan

And so the strike continues. Today I'm sharing one of my older posts: an EPIC, one-month itinerary that takes you in a loop all around the highlights of #Romania. I followed this exact route as a solo female traveler and highly recommend it! #travel

Still on strike AND locked out! That makes one full week of lost wages, just for finally standing up for safe working conditions and fair pay. You can support me during the strike by reading today's post! #travel #france #lyon

Today is the first day of the strike at my day job where I'm not allowed to enter my office and all my computer accounts are locked. Until we win our fight for safer working conditions, I'm sharing one blog post a day (since it's my only source of income!).

I'm working on TWO posts about this top-secret destination. Can you guess what's inside this castle? It's not something I would normally seek out, but I'm definitely glad I visited! #travel #castle #nocheating!

I've said I was going to put some travel photos onto my work computer for the screensaver for YEARS, and I finally got around to doing it this week! Digging through my archives I found this shot of the Batu Caves in #KualaLumpur before they painted the stairs. I definitely prefer them like this.💕

Not into crowds? Skip Versailles and head to THIS chateau outside Paris instead. You might just find yourself alone in Napoleon's bedroom! #paris #france #travel

It’s kind of crazy that the 2025 European Capital of Culture, #Chemnitz #Germany, has been under a boil water advisory for immunocompromised individuals FOR WEEKS but hotels and apartment rentals aren’t sharing this information with visitors. I now have to see a specialist when I get home to Canada.

Having a police station two blocks away - that isn’t listed on Google Maps so nobody from outside of Chemnitz would know it was there - doesn’t make the festival safer for foreign women who are alone and being harassed or groped.

I’ve been to some shitty shit holes before but I think this is seriously the worst city I’ve ever been to. Without question it’s in the top three. I’ve been groped and harassed, there is widespread open youth drug use, garbage everywhere and small signs of extremism at every turn. #chemnitz #germany

Happy Sunday to everyone except the people who go to this exhibit, see the sign saying “silence please”, pass through the entrance where the security guard says “silence please” and then proceed to run around, talk and have full on phone calls. #paris #travel #art #silence
