It's likely, though we'll never know for sure, that she was unaware of guy in front (shooter) because she was focused on guy grabbing door. But that won't factor into legal analysis of shooter's perceptions and actions.

The video shows him limping somewhat right after shooting. All the more reason he would have been more sensible to focus on stepping out of way rather than shooting when he's that close to front of moving car, because shooting driver wouldn't stop it from continuing forward and striking him anyway.

Not enough attention being paid to Miller's full Big Brother act in recent days. He picks Sinatra/Martin/atom splitting/rocket launches as distinctly American. Each has immigrant ties at the core of their stories, so he deliberately chooses these to show that his pretend reality is all that matters.
