Aging increases both #telomeric DNA damage and #Alzheimer’s disease risk. Fabrizio d'Adda di Fagagna and coworkers now find that these processes are linked, with Aβ42 oligomers triggering ROS-mediated telomeric damage that in turn increases neurotoxicity
