In short, the main legacy of his presidencies is that democracy has been strongly attacked and weakened, and this is extremely worrying for the future with facism around the corner (RN).

I would simply add a few things. Twice, Macron has been elected against the born from former SS, collaborationists, nostalgics of colonial empire party, FN now RN, with massive votes from his non supporters, ie left wing (1/n)
