Literally the same thing happened to my brother at this same section of Sackville Dr, just across the street (he was fine). No one looks before gunning out onto the road 🙃

Also I would imagine the harassment is a bigger consideration for more marginalized women as well. A friend of my brother's is trans and has pretty much stopped taking transit due to anxiety about harassment.

I don't know the actual stats, but personally I've been harassed multiple times taking transit and wouldn't be surprised if those with similar experiences (and more alternatives available) chose to avoid transit as a result.
