We humans can’t produce our own Vitamin C, but most other animals can!
Some animals, like certain bats, can’t now but USED to be able to ~40million or so years ago.
A genetic mutation & millions of generations of evolution later, and now they substitute dietary Vitamin C like us! 🍊
