Sim, e de facto já houve um tempo em que experimentei correr o Arch e fazer uso do Wine, mas mesmo assim há questões que não permitem fazer a troca completa: drivers e latência ainda não são aceitáveis em contexto profissional, e a impossibilidade de usar a maioria dos plug-ins, fora estabilidade.

A única limitação são softwares para artistas profissionais. Na minha área (música), as alternativas do Linux não são viáveis, e há opções inexistentes de todo. Programas como Ableton Live, MaxMSP e Touchdesigner continuam a ser "exclusivos" do Windows e MacOS, infelizmente.

Taught group music to teen classes and the amount of mysoginist talkpoints I heard from both male and (surprisingly) female students was enough to shake my faith in the effectiveness of school as a way to transmit societal values.

Ahhh, it was one of 'those' streams, where I'm asked to consider the value of my life and the use of my time on earth, and encouraged to go outside and make connections while the pause menu music of some indie underground hit makes me nostalgic for my millenial adolescence. I love his streams.
