Coaly, a cowhand on the J-Buckle Ranch in Greer County circa 1890. The J-Buckle Ranch is now in Oklahoma but when this photo was taken it was in Texas. That's because Greer County was in Texas for about 60 years but a border dispute awarded it to the Oklahoma Territory in 1896. Their bad luck.🙃
