Folks aren’t taking Wright’s case seriously enough. If he had retired as soon as he got his spinal stenosis diagnosis, he would have been treated like Pucket. He couldn’t retire though because the Wilpon’s were one of the least likely owners in baseball to work with him on the rest of his contract.

The way people rag on Bryce Harper now won’t hold a candle to how much more they are going to rag on him after his playing career is over. These are not the kind of ‘personality quirks’ that are going to age well once they stop being mitigated for by success on the field.

Strongly against the growing trend of folks posting year end lists right after Thanksgiving. Those folks are quitters.

The biggest issue with Del Toro’s Frankenstein is that it was an adaptation of Frankenstein. Really liked everything else about it.
