First thing I put on the jukebox after my first ever Uni exam: "adored". First track on the CD as I drove off to the game I'd always dreamed of; "Fool's Gold" (so good it makes you forget superstition). Happiest I've ever been at the football? Half time that night: 0-0 with Zenit, and on comes this:

Actually hits it a few yards earlier than Patrick Schick hit the winner the only time I've ever attended a major finals game featuring Scotland. Was in that half of the North Stand that day. Seen myself in every replay of it over the last four years. So Kenny McL, into the same fkn net... #catharsis

Andy Robertson has now played in two games featuring a goal like that. Glad he got to be on the same team as this one as he became only the third Scot ever to reach 90 caps for the MNT. A wee summer tournament now surely ensures he'll beat Kenny Dal's record. And joins him as a Scotland legend.

An opening goal like that means it's probably going to be a special night. When I'm not there it's an absolute certainty. Steve Clarke has taken abuse from half of those who were there - one reason I'm slow to chase tickets for Scotland games - but he's driven this over years. An astonishing feat.

Scottish broadcasters pissing themselves, celebrating, coz we ended the night as we began: needing to beat Denmark on Tuesday to qualify. You'd hardly know a win tonight would have meant a draw on Tuesday puts us in our first World cup for 28 years. Honestly. We get what we bloody deserve. Hee-haw.
