The federal deadline to choose our new plan is December 15, but since our kids are covered by BadgerCare this year, I have to get it figured out by…tomorrow! Love it.

I'm bracing for them to raise the age for it to 70 in fourteen or so years. On the other hand, it might be too optimistic to believe we'll still have modern medicine by then anyway! 🙃

The whole system feels like it's set up to make you scared to engage with it.

I got my CPAP machine a few weeks ago and it's awesome, and I have no idea whether what I'm paying now for it is going to go up, down, or stay the same. I considered just waiting till 2026, but that's insane. It's insane that I would continue getting shitty sleep throughout this busy time of year.

Anyway, I bitch about this all the time and there are surely things I could be doing to make the process easier, but for better or worse, I am so fucking resentful that I have to get so stressed out just to spend a shitload of money which still covers so little of the small amount of care we use.

Depending on our income, which has bounced up and down a bunch the last few years, the kids will either be on our plan or covered by BadgerCare (Medicaid). It all works seamlessly until it doesn't.

And like I said, weaponizing perceived victimhood is something I've seen the other party do, in ways that run totally counter to the values she promotes. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It's weird and kinda shocking, but I've seen it.

But I'm not interested in fighting about it! I have to go play cards with the kids now. ✌️

They're saying she's lying. That would expose them to a lot of risk if she very reasonably decided to take legal action and they couldn't produce evidence that they'd informed her. The Bluesky team has not always earned our trust, but this isn't the kind of shit they've done.

They had a blanket policy of not commenting, and when Paul Frazee was asked yesterday, he said they'd specifically changed it because it was a prominent case and she was misleading people. This would be a very wild and unnecessary limb to go out on to defend a lie.

I mean, I watched her inflame thousands of leftists and libs on Twitter over a decade ago, over nothing. She's done a lot of valuable writing, but I've been aware of her long enough that I would not take her word at face value here. I can tell you do, though, so have a good evening.

I'm quite familiar with the issues with the Bluesky T&S team, and with what just happened with Kendzior, and I believe them here. I don't think they changed their policy about publicly commenting on suspensions just to spread a lie.

The Bluesky T&S team said she was told which post was the issue right away.

Have we learned something that confirms she didn't know?

You have to click the link itself, though, because it starts at about 10:08.

I really love this one.

That's lovely, man.
