In the early 90s, almost all of the CPP was invested in Canada. When we financialized pensions, we defunded Canadian industry.

I write about this in my latest book that Canada's media establishment has mostly ignored.

A super simple summary is that the Canadian government is trying to give local law enforcement more access to your data (without you knowing) while opening a door to share your data with US law enforcement (itself a big red flag because of you know, fascism). It's really bad
