It’s been clear from the outset that Trump wants to please and placate Putin in all things, including the wishy washy non-strategy on Ukraine. And now we have the leaked audio to confirm. Non-diplomat Witkoff as chief negotiator? This is government by nincompoops. GOP Congress: do your job!

It just seems Nicole and guests are showing a little too much “irrational exuberance“ over Trump-Mamdani meeting.
Wait till his mood changes, or one of his hate-whisperers gets to him.
He’s happy for any distraction from his troubles and gaffes: Epstein, polls, death threats on Dems.

He’s broken so many norms, and the guardrails we thought would hold have collapsed.
Should we be appalled that it’s finally happened, or astonished that the whole framework stood for so long?
He is cognitively impaired, dangerously paranoid, and morally bankrupt.
I will never forgive this feckless GOP-led Congress for betraying our democratic values, the Constitution, and the people they are sworn to serve.

Re-posting in light of mass firings.
Institutional memory, our collective cultural history, the expertise and learned knowledge of thousands — discarded blithely by the proudly ignorant.
Our national tragedy.

that we greet healthy controversy as the hallmark of healthy change.”

Not only should the Dems refuse to cave on the shutdown; they should announce they won’t vote for a budget until: (a) the military is withdrawn from every American city where it’s been deployed; (b) the budget forbids the use of any funds for that purpose; AND (c) the healthcare demand already made.

“The president should be removed from office because he is plainly insane.”

I mean, there is no war in Portland. There just isn’t. You can’t & won’t avoid reporting this story. But you’ll still find a way to try to report it in a way that gives him the benefit of the doubt.

And that’s wrong.

Are you all going to sail right past this glaring error of judgment and not address it at all? Especially when you’re giving so much air time to the Kimmel situation???
Hoping there are “behind the scene“ discussions.
MSNBC has zero moral authority to talk about cowardice of Disney, ABC, or Republicans for bending the knee to MAGA when they did exact thing in their termination of me and others. They are doing the exact thing they complain about others doing.

He does this constantly, most recently to the Australian reporter who asked him about self-dealing in office.
When the stupid and greedy can’t defend themselves and answer honestly, they resort to insults.
