It’s funny how everybody expects you to adapt to being handicapped immediately. Sorry the bloody instruction manual didn’t download automatically when the stroke happened.

There is no terror like waking up disoriented at 3:30 in the morning, not able to move the left side of your body and your CPAP makes you think you’re on life-support #StrokeRecovery

I have spent the last 24 hours staring at my big toe trying to convince it to move do not have control over your own body. Parts is infuriating.

24 hours can change your life yesterday at 3:30 PM. I had a stroke and currently have full left side paralysis. I’m super scared this will be my POV for the next few weeks.
