Still trying to figure out why I should be here. Was never on Xitter, followed a favorite author to Mastodon and found it quite enjoyable, reminiscent of the old web, easy to find and build relationships/community. (continued in comments.)

I see a bunch of studies out there saying that comprehension and retention are better with audiobooks. Nonsense. This is only because the vast majority of Americans learn to read too late and never read fast enough to benefit from or enjoy it. So they have someone else do it for them.

Absolutely nothing is more important for the next ten months than keeping Donald Trump out of the Whitehouse. Nothing. Not Biden's age, not Palestine, not Ukraine, not the border, not income inequality. We can argue about all of that after we send Trump packing for good.

Went to Pratt, 1908-82, found a focus in abstract painting, followed that focus for 38 years while working in every possible restaurant job and most construction jobs. Switched identity for that of photographer, freelanced for McGraw-Hill Education for a few years. Continued in comments

After listening to all the arguments, I'm pretty sure it will be unanimous to overturn the Colorado Court with multiple diverse opinions. Also pretty sure the justices will pass on hearing the immunity case.

About 58,000 Ford workers are getting profit-sharing checks of up to $10,400.
Profit-sharing is one of the huge benefits negotiated by the @UAW.
Temporary workers will also qualify for profit-sharing for the 1st time. That's the union difference.
