Faraday in Kernow
@faradayinkernow.bsky.social
At one of my lectures on the baking of pasties I was once asked "What good is it?". I did reply that "one day George Osborne will attempt to tax it".

Donald Trump is coming for the BBC and for your wallets.

I urged the Prime Minister to stand up for the 23.8 million licence fee paying households, and tell Trump he won't get a penny.

Frankie Flamingo, who's been missing for over a week, and not eaten by notorious (now seemingly castrated) swan-feaster @frmo.bsky.social, is believed to be living in France. And who can blame her given all the shitty flags?

Mrs Fa says "do you need to keep all those pudding ramekins in the cupboard?" It's on purpose to keep me making puddings to justify keeping them. So have done panna cotta - with raspberries.

If Farage had declared he wasn't going to apply for a landlord licence from a "far left socialist" council, the Daily Mail would have championed his cause. No screaming about "breaking the law". They are protecting their own, the elites, the real money elites.

Happier news for a change. Seems democracies are able to turn back from hard right governments. I just hope the UK also doesn't have to actually go through having one before turning away.

Nope. Circle of friends were just as weird as me, most were into prog rock and mind-altering substances. My electronics obsessed friend was impressed as this was the first performance where computers instantly transformed live sound from acoustic instruments. He spent ages talking to the tech guy.

Apparently, according to some supermarket ads, this is the "spooky season". Yes friends, it's a 'season' now.

I understand that next, we'll be in "isn't war nasty season".
