Yep. It's clear as day why ICE isn't going after "hardened criminals." Anyone who kidnaps people leaving their immigration hearing or snatches kids out of school is a mask-wearing pansy who doesn't have the balls to go after someone who might be an actual threat.

Exactly! And the selling part about artwork is the LEAST fun part. I'd happily let a gallery take commission if it meant I could spend less time on selling and more time actually MAKING the art.

I second the sticky pad suggestion! Especially if you can get the ones they supply with yarn bowls. @llyzabeth.bsky.social got me a yarn bowl for Christmas, and the sticky pad that came with it isn't coming up without real force.

I swear to God, our black cat can HEAR pork. I think he can sense a change in vibrations in the air when someone brings barbecue into the house.

Gawd, the builder for our neighborhood put one of those in front of EVERY HOUSE. Only upside is that they crumble in storms and have a lifespan of about five years ago, so they'll soon be gone.

I don't know why it took so long to realize that I didn't LEARN much in gifted class. I've got vivid memories of a project to turn the classroom into a three-stage time-machine, but not anything you could really be TESTED in.

I'm listening to the Megalopolis episode of the Going Rogue podcast and I'm just stunned. What a saga that production must have been. The whole thing sounds like a parody of a celebrated director's vanity project, instead of an ACTUAL FILM.

It isn't hyperbole to say that this is attempted murder/torture. If people aren't able to afford a surgery because of anesthesia coverage, it means they're being forced to choose between death, or a procedure without anesthesia. How is this possibly legal?
