Stan had been playing his He-Man game with unpainted minis so a friend came over on Sunday with supplies and showed us what to do. I can’t wait for round 2! I don’t like playing the game, but I like painting.

Overall impression: like a fancier car-themed state fair. The waiting around feels like a baseball game. Not terrible, decently pleasant, but I’m still uninterested in going on race day, which seems like an ordeal.

So I ordered a bread proofing mat, because it’s hard to get bread to rise in winter months. The mat came rolled up with a towel, and instructions which make no mention of the towel.
