If your local IKEA is the Leeds one, and you sometimes have to drag yourself there for, I dunno, cheap shelves, then may I suggest this incredible park, garden, and cafe nearby? It's Oakwell Hall where e.g. the hot beef sandwich with home-fries is huge and only £8.95. Fab gift shop also.

Ironbridge yesterday. Thanks to everyone who offered Shropshire hints and tips. We had a lovely few days. One hiking day, then three days of museums and cafés, dodging the showers!
