i would really like to never hear another word about stocks, AI, NFTs, or cryptocurrency ever again. in fact i wish i could erase every single thing i’ve ever known about them.

40 degrees today after negative or single digit temperatures for weeks feels like what i imagine a butterfly coming out of a chrysalis feels like: unfurling from being curled up in my own deconstructing body.

when they say astrology isn’t real but i listen to the saddest songs i can think of to work out & i bet you can guess my sun sign off that alone.

sure- the month of dry january, negative temps, no tourists, in a town of 4000 ppl is not a great money-making recipe for a bartender. however it DOES mean i can bring out a laptop and play #timeguessr with my regular for 2 hours straight. our best score is 38k what’s yours?

as a bartender talking to bar patrons in middle america about how there was snow in nola, hearing a 50+ yo man say “and *they* think there’s global WARMING 🤪” in earnest might push me off the deep end officially.

has any other US president’s inauguration inspired global protests before? just curious 🙃

when you’re such a chronic over-sharer that you think you’re wielding subterfuge and scheming schemes, when really all you’re doing is not talking about something that happened with everyone you interact with.

was going to post about how in an act of pure cunning and trickery, i haven’t mentioned my new, large, detailed nose piercing to anyone and no one has noticed. chuckling about how for 10 days i’ve managed to continue this deception. then i realized this isn’t deceit i’m just a chronic over-sharer.
