I marked out a pan perimeter in painter’s tape on the floor this morning. Any time I have to step out of the pan perimeter I turn all four burners on so if one pan starts running hot the others can pull some of the heat away, sort of like load balancing for the stove

First thing I'd do if I won is get the driveway repaved to make sure it can handle the weight of the news trucks that would want to interview me and the mrs. There's no point winning millions if the asphalt gives out under a Ford Econoline packed with broadcast gear. People don't think about that

Changing pack sizes seems fine if it means less waste, better for the environment too. And cocoa alternatives instead of real cocoa in return for a more shelf stable product seems like a fair compromise, it'll survive the long haul flight from factory to store easier too. Just my couple ¢

We’ve run a Motorola cordless (with caller ID) in the kitchen since ’99 and that baby’s still humming far as I can tell. The ringer echoes through the house the way it always did on the rare occasions it needs to. I test it every daylight savings just to make sure
