I always go by transit since I don’t drive. Express bus to Horseshoe Bay from downtown. I assume you could put your bike on the bus and I’ve seen bikes on the ferry.

You can see ravens on Bowen Island and they come to the edge of the city (UBC, University Endowment Lands, Spanish Banks sometimes) but they don’t like to go too far into more populated areas it seems.

Sometimes I spot a large crow and think for a second, “Is that a crow or a raven?” — but when you see a raven, you KNOW you’re looking at a raven. They’re huge!
