As a Catastrophic Event adjuster, please take lots of photos of contents and property before evacuating or you risk fighting with your insurance company. If you had losses with Helene and most likely haven’t seen your claim adjuster, take photos! Even of your roadside debris. A lot of companies will not pay without photo evidence and photos and this storm will carry away any evidence of loss. Sad but true."
