i think ariana will win for part two. wicked part two is the more "emotional" half, it has "for good"... ariana is great in part one, yes, but it makes sense when its your first nomination and part two is right around the corner. not saying its fair, but its "oscar politics" i guess

there's a longer interview with one of the norwegian co-producers who said despite winning 65 awards internationally and being nominated for an oscar, they can't get the movie distributed in america. hopefully this will change that.

her relationship with cait. and they couldve easily written it like that, seeing as cait hates jinx and is on this destructive revenge quest. but no. despite hating jinx, cait fully accepts this. she doesn't even get mad. she just quietly is fine with it, now.

obviously you have the "vander false hope arc" in the middle where she's more open to bonding with her sis again, but i wouldn't really call this codependency or an unhealthy attachment. its a pretty reasonable thing, where circumstances drastically change. and it doesn't come at the "expense" of
